had some graphical issues. whenever I pass through an obstacle, the background "sticks" for a second and moves with my character. Maybe it's just me. not a bad clone though.

chrisError responds:

I think those glitches are being caused by the reeeally CPU intensive ads on NG, on our site (with no ads) its runs fine

great game, very smooth, and cool twist on existing genres. the only thing I would change is the scroll speed of the background, it may be moving too fast because it makes me a little dizzy-- but maybe i'm just a pussy!

CoolFlow responds:

Thank you for your response, your suggestion is a very good one, and we'll look into slowing it down. :)

EDIT: We have slowed down the background speed by 75%.

I like what you have so far, I would like to see it zoomed out a bit more if possible but it works fine the way it is. I'm curious to see where you're going with this game.

MarcsUniverse responds:

That might be an idea, so that you can see more.
I will consider that idea for next version :)

Pretty good, just a few things you should note:

1) if you fly near (or into) the boss it forces them to stop attacking you. I only tried this with the first boss (the one with a bounty of 2500) in the first level.

2) after the boss dies, he still hucks rocks at me (and I can still earn $$ by shooting where he would have been if he was still alive)

3) perhaps put some restrictions in how fast people can push the spacebar to shoot. I have an auto-clicker program which I can set it to automatically push the spacebar every 1 millisecond for as many cycles as I want-- your bosses die in less than a second because I am allowed to use this. Probalby not a huge issue but you can prevent people from taking advantage of your program.

Thank you for your input, I will keep these issues in mind for the next month's update.

Pretty good, man. If you could make the ammo blink before it disappears it would be awesome (just to simply indicate that it will disappear momentarily). Good job.

DeadWaveProductions responds:

Thank you very much, I shall certainly put that in the next version! -

I'm always super-impressed with the titles that people pump out in mere hours. This is awesome, I wish I had your experience; great job.

Bcadren responds:

Thank you, sir. I don't have an estimate on release date, yet; but expect a post-compo version (New game upload with stuff that takes far more than 48 hours; including a level designer (mini-game/application), more default levels, fewer glitches, in-game tutorial, more features and commands and in-game tooltips (give info on each command in-game).

Not bad but sometimes the fruit would shoot at an impossible angle off-screen and would force me to restart. It would also be nice to have a menu and a score chart. Not a bad start though.

Mikeaphobia responds:

Thank you for you're review, I will try and fix these issues in a update, Thank you so much for pointing them out :)

Wish I had this for my Psych 101 course. Although I'm really surprised I passed this on the first try. Good job!

DeSaGames responds:

Congrats! Hopefuly it served as a good way to review :)

Pretty good start. It would be cool to make the ball jump only while you have the jump key pushed down; small jumps would require you to hold jump for half a second while high jump would be like a 2-second push or something? It would also be cool to see different surfaces affecting the ball in different ways (i.e. slippery ice, rough sand), or even make the ball change into different materials through powerups? Seems like there's a lot of potential here. Steel ball would sink in water and smash through glass or something. I'm just throwing ideas out there :P

Bummul responds:

Thank you alot for the good critic, I will absolutley take all the ideas into consideration, aswell add power ups! I didn't think of that at all, once you collect a coin, you get a better ball with faster speed/jump etc! Thanks alot!

Bummul

Would like to see some power-ups or other upgrades, otherwise it's pretty cool.

GeorgeN responds:

Do you have something in mind for powerups or upgrades?
